The break-ins and faux-robberies continue with no leads from the newly assigned team. This, however, has been pushed aside by most of the public to make room for the new information from America.

“Miami police are still trying to figure out exactly what happened in a grisly crime that has gathered international headlines: police shot and killed a naked man after he allegedly attacked another naked man and tried to eat his face on a major Miami highway. Neither man has been identified. Police said the victim is recovering in the hospital after his attacker allegedly tried to not only eat his face but also gouge out his eyes. A police officer responded to the scene and reportedly shot the attacker, who continued to chew the other man’s flesh—and the officer then reportedly fired again until the attacker died. Police are still trying to determine what motivated the attack—and whether drugs were involved.”

Reports have been coming in about the break-ins - there’s apparently not been any actual harm to any of the people, besides the three murders. Nothing has been stolen, no one has seen the criminal (or criminals), and, as far as we can tell, the most they’ve done is move around everything in the houses and apartments. Are they just out to mess with people’s minds? In any case, the police force is on it - it’s still a crime, even if nothing is hurt or stolen.

The police team that had been put on the case originally has been incapacitated by some sort of toxic gas that has landed them all in intensive care. We urge citizens not to be alarmed, but to be very aware of their surroundings and very careful about who they trust.

The new team is the well known one led by D.I. Gregory Lestrade. There have been complaints already about his involvement with the case, concerning the fiasco in the Sherlock Holmes case, but the force assures citizens that they would not put him on the case if they didn’t think he could do better than the last team. Nonetheless, calls and emails have been coming in by the dozens; for and against it.

Government officials have also been called in for background help on this case, though that is all the information we could get on that front.

Long time no talk, and that’s entirely my fault. I could go into a long explanation, but I don’t want to bore you with my issues. Just know that I’m sorry if my absence has troubled you in any way. Basically, my rping has been affected by irl problems. 

That being said, I don’t think I’m fit to keep running this group. I don’t do a good job and you guys deserve better than that, so I’m giving up my position as head mod, and I’m considering giving up Dean as well. I’d really like to get back into rping but as I said, you deserve better, so we’ll see how it goes. In the mean time, if any of you wish to take over the group, drop a message and we’ll figure something out.

There have been reports of break-ins all over London within the past two hours, but no evidence of forced entry in any of the houses, though the doors were locked. There have been 60 calls and climbing. Be aware and be careful; don’t let anyone into your house! There have been three murders after these break-ins, and the police force involved believe that all of these murders and break-ins are related, through some sort of giant gang related crime spree, maybe with an underlining plan, though they haven’t been able to find a link between the victims as of yet.
